This is a complete remodel of a bathroom. The request was to remove the bath and fit a walk in shower suitable for wheel chair access (no curb or shower tray).
To achieve this the concrete floor needed to be cut away to give the required drop dictated by the building code for water run off.
Once all the old tile was removed the pipe work for the new shower and body jets was installed along with the moisture barrier. Rock wall was then fitted level with the existing walls ready for the tiles to be laid.
The tiles are ceramic Carrara, grouted with a light grey and the floor is covered with a beautiful real stone basket weave grouted with a dark grey.
